Hello, I am Andrew Morrisett – Thanks for being here for my journey in cyber security.

I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia and ended up in Silicon Valley my new home of the last 5 years.

In between Atlanta and Silicon Valley, I attended college in Boulder Colorado, one of the most beautiful places in the US.

After graduating with a MA in Psychology, Communications, and Entrepreneurship, my job with Level 3 Communications asked me to migrate out to Silicon Valley.

After 4 years with the company and a merger with CenturyLink, I was exposed to some of the smartest people I have met to date and been privileged to learn how the best companies in the world run their network/security.

Having sold security services at the company (DDoS prevention, Threat Intel, Managed Firewalls & SOC), I knew this was where I wanted to be.

So here we are, my Security blog and journey into the depths of the industry. With my networking and technical sales background – I believe I can be a valued asset being able to effectively talk the talk but also “walk” the walk technically.

Outside of work, I enjoy soccer, boxing, hiking, gaming, coding financial patterns, cooking, and live music.
